Crisis Relief Efforts - Get Together Foundation

GTF is currently working with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) and other agencies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the homeless population throughout Los Angeles County. We are assembling hand washing kits that contain soap, water, and paper towels, along with information on virus prevention and homeless assistance programs.

Watch Us In Action

LAHSA field deputies and agencies, such as the LA County Sheriff’s Department, Project Angel and others working in the homeless community, are distributing the kits in the upcoming weeks. We hope to provide them as along as needed to stop the threat of spreading COVID-19 among the vulnerable homeless population. The Center of Disease Control has stated that soap and water is the best method to prevent contracting the disease. (Alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol is the next best recommended.)
