Our Programs
The Get Together Foundation offers immediate assistance to children and families in need by providing food, clothing, shelter, music and support services to those with nowhere else to turn or in need of immediate crisis relief. Our action-based programs are successful largely due to the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and selfless donors. Partnering with churches, missions, shelters, social service agencies, and government agencies, we are constantly expanding our reach to deepen our impact. We strive to make the world a better place, and the only way to make a profound difference is by working together. Together, WE CAN better the lives of underprivileged kids and families everywhere!
TOGETHER IN TUNE
MUSIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Our music enrichment program, Together In Tune, is an afterschool program that takes place at our community partner facilities including the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley, North Valley Caring Services, and homeless shelters with school-age kids. Our program provides top quality musical experiences of all kinds to underprivileged youth, from elementary through high school, giving kids the opportunity to experience music education and develop their artistry through song and musical expression in a fun, non-threatening learning environment.
CASA DE VIDA
FAMILY CRISIS SHELTER
We partner with the incredible Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission to provide rapid re-housing family crisis shelters in the San Fernando Valley. Our housing and support programs offer families social services, health care, parenting classes, and employment assistance to help transition them quickly into permanent housing, and with the tools and life skills to help build a more promising future.
TAKIN’ IT TO THE STREETS
MOBILE MEALS DELIVERY PROGRAM
Takin’ it to the Streets is a mobile food program delivering hot, healthy meals to children and families without access to kitchens or shelters. Our CARE-a-VAN brings healthy, nutritious and balanced meals to those temporarily housed in motel districts or living in encampments.
CRISIS RELIEF KITS
COVID-19 RESPONSE
Get Together Foundation is quick to act in times of crisis, assisting in emergency and disaster relief whenever and wherever needed. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we began providing hand wash/hygiene kits to those without permanent housing. These kits consist of purified bottled water, hand-wash soap, paper towels, and information with county-wide services, packaged in a re-sealable plastic bag and assembled by our volunteers. Approximately 2,000 kits per week are being distributed throughout Los Angeles County by LAHSA, The Midnight Mission, Project Angel Food, Cornerstone, and other partner organizations that service individuals experiencing homelessness.

HOLIDAY CELEBRATION PROGRAM
We strive to bring smiles to the faces of all our kids in our programs, and the holidays are a perfect time to do just that. From Halloween costume contests, Thanksgiving dinners, gingerbread house building and caroling, to new toys, clothing, wrapped gifts, and household supplies, Get Together Foundation does all that we can to make the season a little bit brighter for our many children and families in need.
