Great Music for Great Causes
We put music at the core of our fundraising here at Get Together Foundation, and The Tribe Band are the ones who make it all possible. Each year, The Tribe and several other special guests and performing artists graciously lend their time and talent to join in our annual Together in Tune concert event, where 100% of all proceeds raised (through ticket sales, sponsor packages, auction items and more) go directly to the cause, and help fund our programs and the programs we share with our community partners. These all-star concert events allow us to continue giving back to countless children and families in need, and here in the community we all call home.
Who We Are & What We Do
THE TRIBE is a collective of LA-based musicians who are socially inspired and perform concerts for important causes to help make a difference in our community. Through the power of music, we use our creative skills to raise money and awareness. We support the Get Together Foundation’s efforts, dedicated to providing food, shelter, extracurricular programs in the arts, and support services to children and families in need.
What We’ve Done Since 2011
In partnership with GTF, proceeds from our charity concert events have been granted to a number of local organizations that help people in need. Many notable artists have appeared in our shows including David Crosby, Al Jardine, Jesse Colin Young, Micky Dolenz, Peter Asher, Carnie Wilson, Steve Ferrone, the late Mary Wilson, Derek Smalls, Judith Owen, Albert Lee, Rob Morrow, Stephen Bishop, Florence LaRue, Strawberry Alarm Clock, members of Ambrosia, Rosemary Butler, Freebo, and more.
Recipients have included: Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, The Midnight Mission, City of Hope, MusiCares®, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, Project Angel Food, ABC/LA Fire Dept’s Spark of Love Toy Drive, the L.A. Fire Department, the United Way, and more
